Hi! My name is Allison Podlogar!

I’m an actor, singer, dancer currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Originally from North Carolina, I moved to New York to pursue my BFA in musical theatre from Molloy University/CAP 21 (Class of 2025). Growing up, I fell in love with theatre after playing “Small Alice” (Alice when she shrinks) in Alice in Wonderland when I was 8 years old. Some of my favorite credits include Margo (Bright Star), Anna (Spring Awakening), and Amber Lee Crenshaw in the premiere of Miss Fairfield County The Pageant: The Musical by Matthew Meade at the New York Theatre Festival!

While in school, I had the opportunity to work as the associate choreographer with Billy Bustamante on The Wild Party (CAP 21). Last winter, I stage managed a New York Theatre Festival award winning play, What’s It About? by Nicole Kolitsas! I also music directed several musicals for kids and teens and currently teach baby ballet classes at Dance With Miss Rachel in the city.

As an artist, I want to be a part of the shows and experiences that can bring people together- whether that be families, friends, or even strangers. I want to contribute to creating safe artistic spaces in which we can all truly be ourselves.

Besides performing, I enjoy going on adventures with my friends, journaling, watching The Amazing Race, and being incredibly committed to the bit!

See what I’m up to!
