Hi! My name is Allison Podlogar!
I’m an actor, singer, dancer currently based in Brooklyn, New York. Originally from North Carolina, I moved to New York to pursue my BFA in musical theatre from Molloy University/CAP 21 (Class of 2025). Growing up, I fell in love with theatre after playing “Small Alice” (Alice when she shrinks) in Alice in Wonderland. Some of my favorite credits include Katherine (Newsies), Anna (Spring Awakening), and Daisy in the world premiere of Miss Money Honeybee the Musical. This December, I will be playing Amber Lee Crenshaw in Miss Fairfield County The Pageant: The Musical at the New York Theatre Festival!
I also love working offstage. I had the opportunity to work as the associate choreographer with Billy Bustamante on The Wild Party (CAP 21). I also music directed several musicals for kids and teens and currently assist baby ballet classes at Dance With Miss Rachel. This winter, I am stage managing a New York Theatre Festival bound play, What’s It About? by Nicole Kolitsas!
As an artist, I want to be a part of the shows and experiences that can bring people together- whether that be families, friends, or even strangers. I want to continue to better understand myself and others through my work, and I want to contribute to creating safe artistic spaces in which we can all truly be ourselves.
Besides performing, I enjoy going on adventures with my friends, journaling, and being incredibly committed to the bit!
